Well... It has been a long time since I have blogged. I mean like actually blogged! I have missed it but it has been hard to do it because of my fingers not working. I have learned a lot through this process and even though I would not like to live through this pain physically and tiredness emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, I would not ask God to take that past away. I have learned things that I would probably not have learned other wise. And one of the things I have realized is that before this happened I never really thanked God or...what is the word I am looking for...I am not sure how to explain things. During the last few months I have prayed more than ever before. But why is that? Why is it that we turn to God at the hardest parts of our lives? Why don't we pray and praise, thank, repent, and ask during our every day normal routine without some tragic event that has happened? Shouldn't we always be in prayer and in fellowship with God every day? It says in the Bible to "Pray without ceasing." And another thing is that we pray and ask God for little things and then forget him but not our requests. And I am not saying that we shouldn't let God know our desires, but we take things for granted and then after we get it we "Forget" or even don't even think of God and his gift. We carry on as though it doesn't even matter that God gave this to us or that we did it ourselves. Prayer is a big thing for us Christians to do. And sometimes we abuse that but doesn't it say to "Pray without ceasing?" We should praise him for who he is, then we should thank him for what he has done, then repent for our sins that we have committed, then we should request things that we need to to God. He hears every prayer and will respond. I don't know if I as real clear on that but I know I needed to write it. This is going to be something that I need to work on.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18~
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
